CSI: NY is a police procedural about a team of forensic scientists who use high-tech science to serve the New York City Police Department in the crime lab. The team investigates mysterious and unusual deaths and also solves other serious crimes like rape, attempted murder, and terrorism.

Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) is a dedicated and driven crime scene investigator who focuses on cases until they are solved. He and his partner, Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes), share a passion for the job. Stella has an unmatched desire to find answers for the victims of violent crimes due to her past.
